• Cleaning and replacement of thermal paste, in cases of overheating, it is often sufficient to thoroughly clean the interior and restore thermal contact between the processor and the heatsink.
• Fan replacement: a noisy fan is an inexpensive repair that saves the computer from overheating.
• Relocation of the system, if the problem is software-related (virus, slowdown over time), a clean installation of Windows will resolve most issues.

When is it better to replace a computer?

There are situations when repair is not economically sensible. A new computer is worthwhile in the following cases:

• The computer is older than 6-7 years, in such cases the processor is outdated, the motherboard may not support modern components and further investment becomes more expensive.
• Fault on the base plate, repairing the motherboard is often more expensive than buying a new computer, and there is no guarantee that another problem will not appear soon.
